Bad Parenting: The Kid is more important than the Ball

Everyone has seen videos of dads holding their infant child or a large souvenir  cub of beer while they catch a foul ball without missing a beat.  Usually they get on the big screen and let their kid hold the ball.  Of course the kid usually throws the ball back because they don’t know any better – a beer would never do that by the way!  Well it seems this skill does not translate to other cultures because in Japan they just toss kids down a few rows of seats when an $8 ball is on the line.  When making the decision to toss your child aside for a moment of glory make sure your wife is not present, does not have access to a television, and in no way can even figure out how to watch highlights of baseball ever.  Oh yeah and if all else fails and you toss the child, get caught by the wife, and end up on the Internet at least catch the damn ball.
