Kids Never Stop Eating

I come home from work and we have dinner as a family.  Tonight was pork chops, mashed potatoes, and some veggies.  Dinner finishes and ten minutes later he is opening the fridge telling use he wants this and by this he mean pretty much anything we grab.  Since his new favorite word is apple,  that has taken the place of bananas or nana as he enjoys saying, that is what we must peel and cut up for him.  Once the apple is complete he has some play time or reading and after that back to the fridge for pre run in circles before attempted bed time snack.  I think we shoved some goldfish in a bowl for him,. but I don’t remember because by that time I was taking a nap.  Going to work and commuting back home requires a 30 minute nap at some point.  After I woke up he was begging for a taste of ice cream or a protein shake or what ever he sees in the kitchen.  All I know is that by the time this kid is a teenager I better be making  a lot more money to afford his appetite.
