20 Classic Dad Photos

Looking over the literally hundreds of pictures taken of our 4-month-old kid, something struck me as really odd; there is only one picture of the two of us. Sure there are pictures where we are both present, but nothing with just the two of us, father and son, big jerk and little jerk.
It led me to do some digging online and I ended up finding hundreds of classic father and child photos. I found myself being envious of complete strangers. I want to look back at a photo twenty years from now and say “look at us, just dad and son, having a blast and wearing some of the worst clothing ever.” I saved some of the pictures and put together a gallery of dad pictures that span over forty years. As an added bonus, I included a photo of me and my old man, but I’ll let you figure out which photo that is.
This gallery will also kick off a running column called “Classic Pop”. It will consist of submitted photos of readers with their own father.
