Everyone Smile And Say “Peeeeeeee”

The above picture is 100% real. That’s dad Chris and his son Griffin. Chris was cool enough to let The Noob Dad post the picture and give us a little bit of background on the shot.
The Noob Dad: Set the scene, what was the picture for and what happened right after the fountain began to flow?
Chris: We’ve scheduled a 3, 6 & 9 month series of photos and this was taken near the beginning of the first photo shoot. The photographer had placed a changing pad on the floor in front of us and very specifically said “If he pees, try to aim him at the pad”. Well, he managed to arc the stream right over my arms and the pad, leaving a nice puddle on the studio’s backdrop, which we promptly cleaned up. The pad remained bone dry.
The Noob Dad: Was that the beginning or end of the photo session?
Chris: My kid seems to think I’m a target and loves target practice (aka. diaper changes), so this was nothing new for either of us, but that doesn’t mean it was pleasant.
The Noob Dad: Will that be your holiday card next year?
Chris: Not sure if we’ll use it as a holiday card, but it will forever remain a topic of family gossip….I’m thinking this photo may make an appearance the first time he brings home a date.
The Noob Dad: Will this picture hang in the Pam Long gallery?
Chris: As with most photographers she watermarked her work, but she’s as proud of this shot as any of the “real” photos. In fact, she’s added it to her “outtakes” album on her Facebook profile.
