Facepalm of the Day: Dennis Rodman Writes a Children’s Book

1 Aug

It seems that the writing bug has hit Dennis Rodman again. Wait, you haven’t forgotten about Bad As I Want To Be, have you? According to Starpulse, the former Detroit “Bad Boy” and Chicago Bull is set to pen a book for your kids, titled Dennis The Wild Bull — you know, because he’s such an articulate individual who is the epitome of being a good role model. Okay, so his title isn’t the most controversial in recent memory, but one has to wonder what tricks “The Worm” has in store.

He may say children are the future and that he wants to convey a positiveĀ  message, but when you can’t walk the walk, you lose credibility immediately, just ask any preschooler who saw Dora and SpongeBob cry as they announced DirecTV was the reason the would no longer have Nick and Nick Jr. I swear I saw a group of protestors wearing Pull-Ups and drinking Fruitables in between angry chants of WWSBB (We Want SpongeBob Back).

Look, I’m not saying you have to be a saint to author a book that could potentially be read by millions of children, but I’m not sure a wife-beating alcoholic who likes to kick cameramen in the junk is the best candidate for the job. Crazy? Fine. Absolutely nuts? Not so much.
