Dad Books: “The Investment Answer” Even Though You Don’t Even Know The Question

26 Jan

I’ve got all my money safely in a CD. The River by Bruce Springsteen. It’s on my shelf in my office. It holds all my money. Probably shouldn’t have written that for all to read.

For us morons, The Investment Answer.

What if there were a way to cut through all the financial mumbo-jumbo? I checked, mumbo jumbo is not good, though it does sound like a tasty New Orleans type dish. Wouldn’t it be great if someone could really explain —in plain and simple English—the basics people must know about investing in order to insure financial freedom? Fine. Words like mumbo-jumbo can be sprinkled in for an occasional chuckle. Jargon-free and written for all investors—experienced, beginner, and everyone in between—The Investment Answer distills the process into just five decisions—five straightforward choices that can lead to safe and sound ways to manage money.

One of those decisions is probably to pick a new CD. I’ll go with The Best Of John Denver. DAMN IT! Did it again.
